Governance

How we govern.

Cultivar Foundation operates as a separate legal entity from Cultivar Communities, with its own board and its own finances. The Foundation is building its board toward an independent majority and follows a written conflict-of-interest policy for any decision involving a related party. We will publish our board here once that structure is seated.

Tax status

Our tax status.

Cultivar Foundation is a Texas nonprofit corporation. Our application for 501(c)(3) status is pending with the IRS. Until the determination letter arrives, we cannot state that donations are tax-deductible. We will update this page as soon as our status is confirmed.
